Honor's Haven Retreat & Conference

My stay at the resort was excellent. The food was superb, the rooms extremely comfortable and the care and concern of the staff was A+. It was my second time here and I loved it just as much as the first time I stayed. What a beautiful place inside and outside on the grounds. We had a spiritual retreat at Honors Haven and all 19 of us was pleased. Plan your family, group, or individual stay. It is well worth it.

Great getaway/retreat! Room was spacious and had a beautiful view, though had a smell that you notice when you walk in. Hallway/dining floors might need updating as they easily creak/vibrate with footsteps. Pleased with the amenities, retreat program, and staff. Food was good and offered variety. Enjoyed the labyrinth/hikes/falls inside the property. Staff were great!

I wanted to thoroughly enjoy my stay, it has so much to recommend it. The food was surprisingly good, the staff was great, the waterfall trail is wonderful. Spa is good. I had a great massage and a very good facial. The bummer was regulating the heat in the rooms. My unit was really noisy. It was hard for me to get a good nights sleep and the dryness was tough to take. I had to leave a night early. I wish I could give this a better review. It has so many great things. I will definitely go back for the spa and nature. That's great.

I spent 3 days at the most lovely retreat in the Hudson Valley! As a writer and educational consultant, I needed to get away. I was able to rest, read and write to my heart's delight at Honors Haven. It was private enough for me to enjoy much of it in solitude. Yet the staff was always there if I needed them. This was important as I often travel solo. I especially enjoyed my dinner every night, even the views from the dining hall are stunning! Thanks to all the staff there who made my stay cozy and sweet!

We were in town for the Borscht Belt Festival and stayed at Honors Haven, the former Fallsview Hotel. We were not sure what to expect but we were happily pleased. The hotel was immaculately clean with a crisp modern decor. The pools were sparklingly wonderful and the grounds were beautifully manicured. The staff were all friendly and our room had nicely updated furniture. Another thing that we liked was that although the resort is family friendly with many activities to enjoy (we were even invited to a campfire on our last night), there are certain areas like the gym and the jacuzzi that are reserved for adults being "18 and Over Only". We enjoyed Honors Haven so much that the only reason we are not rating the property as a "5" is because we wish the bar and lounge were open for guest and the hot water in the bathrooms didn't work, never getting above tolerably warm. Otherwise, we really enjoyed having the "Catskill Resort experience". We really wish this property success and are definitely planning on coming back just for the sake of coming to the resort soon!
